    Bones II Kickstarter

Well they did it again.  I have bought more plastic crack.  This time there seems to be a lot more options to spend you money on.  I think a plus was how they broke out the sci-fi models into their own expansion so if you were one of the ones complaining about not wanting to pay for them in the first kickstarter now you could avoid them.

Yesterday I went to Reaper Factory in Denton Texas for the end of the kickstarter celebration.  They were nice enough to feed us Texas BBQ and let us paint some mini's.

I picked up an Orc Hunter 77045 and tried out some different paints.  This was the first time I used 09040 Dark Shadow.  This is more of a wash and I found it worked quite well in place of the Augax Earthshade I normally use.

The highlight was getting to see Reaper Bryan take a pie to the face

Here is a link to the official video.  I'm in the back of the crowd shot at the end:

They had some of the Big options on display, even a few of them were painted.
    Khanjira, The World Breaker

    Narthrax Dragon

And finally it all came to an end.  Congratulations to Reaper for another successful Kickstarter.  Now I just need to paint all this stuff before they start shipping the new stuff.
