The Elemental is a solid piece of plastic.  After looking at him I decided to go with a basic rock but add color by attempting to paint lava between the rocks.  Not completely happy with the affect but it works for now.

There are really simple miniatures.  I'm planning to run my son through Masters of the Fallen Fortress a beginner encounter for Pathfinder, and it needs a bat swarm.  So Its time to to do a quick paint job and get them ready for the table.

This was included in the Vampire set.  I've threatened to paint the boys metal one from his dwarf warlord army but he always said he was going to do it.  So finally I'm going to paint these and leave his alone.  I ended up with two of them so twice as much fun.
